Lisa L. Sickles, CPDT-KA, CDBC is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer-Knowledge Assessed and a Certified Dog Behavior Consultant who has been providing dog training in the Denver area since 1999. She is an active member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers, International Association of Animal Behavior Consultants and is an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, S.T.A.R Puppy class evaluator and an evaluator for the new AKC Trick Titles!
Lisa served on the City Of Englewood’s Dangerous Dog Task Force as the “animal professional” to assist the Council on the writing of the current city code, and has been an “expert” witness for court cases, she also served on the board of the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley.
She has done seminars on various dog behaviors for veterinary professionals, rescue groups and daycare’s. Lisa uses positive reinforcement techniques in her classes and private lessons, never using pain or fear!

Lisa and her husband are the proud owners of three dogs; Australian Shepherds Scarlatti & Colette and Miniature American Shepherd, Jovi.
Scarlatti
Scarlatti has multiple agility championships, has podiumed multiple times in both AKC Nationals and UKI. She also has multiple Dock Diving, Trick and other titles. Scarlatti has taken Lisa coast to coast on adventures.
Colette
Colette is a rescue Australian Shepherd who loves to do anything involving a ball, she competed in agility but she thinks swimming is dumb.
Jovi
Jovi is a Miniature American Shepherd who is well on his way to being an agility champ. He is the happiest dog all of the time.
